lol steve smith went to high school near me in the sydney shire/st.george area. lost to his team two years in a row at the state quarters and then the semis for opens cricket and also played against him for a few district rep games. but the two losses for school were heartbreaking, both times we took 3-4 early wickets before steve scored a hundred

he wasnt too nice a bloke back then and there were better players than him in their side - i guess his legspin and australias great search for the 'heir' to shane warne might have attributed to his quick rise to the aussie first team.

Yeah Smith is overrated. He is a game changer, but I doubt he will succeed at test level. I hope he proves me wrong

I'm just hiding my head in shame tbh. Sanga whipped us silly. Still, the sort of score they've posted means a draw is quite likely - especially considering Sri Lanka's bowling side for this test is a bit weak.
